Are you looking for a unique study abroad experience? Do you wonder if you are academically ready to enter university? Would you like to improve your English so you can find a global career?


Join us for an action-packed summer that is sure to change your life and broaden your horizons. Build friendships with American students and international students to give you a global perspective.


Improve your academic writing and study skills. Develop your research skills and ability to give oral presentations. Stretch yourself as a leader and learn to relate to other cultures. Receive an academic certificate of completion for SUPP from ALCI.


Azusa Pacific University is a comprehensive Christian university that focuses on helping you develop a Christian perspective of truth and life. Be challenged to think about your relationship with God and how you can serve others.


You will spend 4 weeks in an amazing program. Each week is filled with 20 hours of academic classes, interaction with students and APU interns in 10 hours of culture workshops and activities, and 1– 15 hours on field trips to explore Southern California.


FIELD TRIPS:
Disneyland, Hollywood, a famous California beach, Big Bear Lake, a museum, shopping outlet, and Azusa!

DEADLINES
Your application, financial statement, and $US 500 deposit is due by May 1, 2010 to Azusa Pacific University.
Upon receipt of your deposit and financial statement (or full
tuition) your I-20 will be mailed to you so you can apply for your F-1 student visa.

COST: NT$98,000
This summer program includes all tuition, books, room, 3 meals per day, weekend field trips and entry fees, opening reception and closing banquet.
*Your personal expenses are for snacks, laundry, and spending money. (Estimate $200)
** In addition to the ALCI program fee, all international
Students must apply for and pay their own visa fees and

SEVIS fee ($200) to study in the U.S. as an F-1 student.
Each student must also send a copy of his/her travel
insurance policy.

HOUSING
All students will be housed on campus in the dormitories.
Students will be housed 2 students of the same gender per room.
Students will take meals in the cafeteria or eat off-campus during field trips. Laundry facilities are provided in the dormitories.
Markets are close by for shopping and personal needs.

LOCATION
Azusa Pacific University (APU) is located in Southern California, famous for scenic beauty, ethnic diversity, and recreational and cultural activities. A mild climate provides visitors with the
opportunity to enjoy the various recreational attractions of
California. Situated at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the city of Azusa, APU is just 42 km northeast of Los Angeles– close to freeways, museums, and shopping centers. Students are within an hour’s drive of Disneyland, beaches, mountains, and desert communities.

INFORMATION
SUPP 2010 is sponsored by the American Language and Culture Institute (ALCI), which is a department of Azusa Pacific
University. This one month program does not provide academic credit toward the traditional ALCI academic courses, but does provide a certificate of completion.
